The Centre for Deaf Studies in Bristol is offering an exciting new course this August. The Sign Language Literature and Folklore course considers the linguistic, literary and cultural aspects of sign language literature. The course also considers sign language narratives, poetry and humour, looking at the signed texts and the performance of those texts. An essential part of this course will be the in-depth study of the work of Deaf poets, humorists and skilled narrators of sign language stories. For further information click the link above.
